Our eco linen collection

Linen is one of the strongest textiles, one of the oldest and one of the most eco friendly fabrics to produce. We are very enthusiastic about linen, it’s all natural and is a fabric that has been woven and worn since the ancient Egyptians. Linen has been found in pharos tombs and, along with wool, was one of the two primary fabrics used in the UK until cotton was imported into England in the 1690s.

Linen is made from the stems of the flax plant, it is strong, durable. It is biodegradable and grown without synthetic aids, it a fabric that is perfect for upholstery, tablecloths, curtains, cushions and blinds.

All our organic linen cotton mixes are printed responsibly in the UK using certified organic inks and dyes. They have high rub rates, so can be used for upholstery and are UV resistance so our dyes will be stable in sunlight. The linens we print are 130 to 135 cm wide, 250 gsm in weight and printed to any length.

In addition, all the designs below can be printed onto both white linen and undyed linen. Just message us if you don’t see the option you’d prefer.

This linen is 130cm wide and the repeat on the design a drop of 25cm. The linen weave is 240 gsm (grams per square metre).

The delicate Forget Me Not flower design, printed onto white organic linen, was inspired by the spiralling pinks and purples Forget Me Nots that line the Test Valley river in the summer months.

This design is also available printed on furnishing cotton, velvet and undyed linen.

Our printed linen is perfect for tablecloths, lampshades, cushions, blinds and light furnishings. If you are interested in an extra long, made to measure table cloth, we would be happy to help.

Our fabrics are sold by the metre and printed to order. If you’re looking for a large horizontal piece of fabric for a headboard or large shade, for example, just message us and we can print your order horizontally and seamlessly.
